I said it when Apple CEO Tim Cook came out as gay that there might be consequences, unfortunately it has started. A human-sized iPhone statue featuring a screen that displays a photo and video tribute to Apple Inc founder, Steve Jobs, which was erected in St Petersburg, Russia in 2013, was dismantled by the people who put it up, a day after Apple CEO, Tim Cook, came out as gay.

The Russian group of companies that erected the monument released a statement today saying it was taken down on Friday Oct. 31st, because they needed to abide by 'a law combating gay propaganda". Whatever that means. I guess more to come...

For those of you who the price of cement has been stopping you from building, Dangote Cement Plc has announced a 41% reduction in the prices of cement, with the different grades now selling for between N1,000 and N1,150, exclusive of Value Added Tax. Now, 50kg of the 32.5 cement grade sells for N1,000, while the higher 42.5 grade will go for N1,150 per bag instead of the current N1,700 that both grades were sold for.

The new price structure was announced by the Group MD, Dangote Cement, Mr. Devakumar Edwin, who said
“We recognise the need for a dramatic increase in the response to the huge infrastructure and housing deficit in the country, and one of the ways of addressing the issue is bringing the price of building materials down to much more affordable levels, especially cement, which is within our own control as part of our contribution to the transformation agenda of the President Goodluck Jonathan administration and the attainment of key milestones in the Millennium Development Goals.”

Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, in a meeting this weekend, ruled out any specific date for the release of abducted Chibok girls but noted that their release was priority on government agenda.
“The true picture in Nigeria as far as insurgency in the North-East is concerned is that the war on Nigeria by the terrorists is still on. And, of course, from the onset of this crisis, government had indicated tackling the insurgency on three fronts: point of engagement, point of consultation and point of containment. And so, consultations definitely will continue: And don’t forget that because of the prolonged nature of the insurgency, a lot of activities are going on, both at the level of government and the level of the insurgents.
"So now, the insurgents are divided into various sectors especially with the death of their leader, Shekau. (But I thought Shekau resurfaced in a video just recently? someone asked) the minister ignore and continued
"However, at the moment, our foreign partners and collaborators are helping and collaborating with Nigeria to arrive at a peaceful resolution of the matter and to bring the insurgency to an end. And one of the issues on the table in arriving to an end to the crisis is the release of the Chibok girls. It is one issue at stake as part of the resolution of the crisis. But for anybody to put a date on the release of the Chibok girls, that person is just being speculative, but we will certainly get there soon”.

Me, I don't understand all these witchy witchy stories. Is it not possible that these people are mentally disturbed individuals instead of witches? I just received these photos and according to the people who claim they witnessed it, a bird suddenly dropped as it was flying by and it turned into the woman above. When people gathered around her, she allegedly confessed to killing four people this week.
This incident happened at Imulokanle street, Ishaga bus stop off Ebule Egba Ekoro road, Lagos. They say she's been wondering around since she fell and they want the police to come take her out of their area. See more photos after the cut...
